Lady in distress

Short Story (1320 words)

The eleventh Dr Kang story.

Greta Norwalk, a successful novelist, meets Dr Kang at a book signing and asks him to recover some indiscreet letters she has written to an actor, Michael Cadille. He is blackmailing her, she says. Indeed he has just telephoned with an ultimatum. But who is the real blackmailer?

Glasgow Evening Citizen, 21st December 1956.
Presumably this story also appeared in the Evening Standard the previous week, though I have not verified this.
